It is common to have fiberboard, vinyl or metal siding on houses, which if installed correctly, will require little outside of normal maintenance.
To clean siding, lightly scrub the soiled areas with a mild, non-abrasive detergent and hose down. Be careful if using a high pressure washer which may damage the siding.
